GOSH COSMETICS SHADE COLLECTION PALETTE REVIEW.

BRAND GOSH Copenhagen.
PRICE £10.99.
CRUELTY FREE? Yes.
VEGAN? No - pinky shades contain carmine.
PACKAGING Really high quality. Very sleek and sturdy black plastic with a high quality, full-sized mirror. It's sold packaged in a cardboard box.
PIGMENTATION  These are a mixture of mostly shimmery shades and two satin-sheeny shades. The pigmentation is nice and smooth, but not opaque.
LASTING POWER Pretty good - a full day with a base underneath. Pictures below show swatches with a finger and without a primer and the stain left behind when rubbed off.

PROS  Lovely range of colours, affordable, cruelty-free, good sized mirror, easy to get hold of in Superdrug in the UK.
CONS  No true matte shades included in the palette so may need to be used in conjunction with a white matte/transition shade. Contains carmine so not vegan. Not sure how it would show up on dark skin.

I have to say I'm a fan of this palette. It's a real shame that it isn't vegan, but overall really enjoy using it and have been reaching for it a lot. See all vegan products by Gosh listed here. It's a great cruelty-free alternative to the L'Oreal Rose Nude palette that a lot of people like using. Would recommend to a friend - and in fact I have recommended it to my friends. Do find a counter and test it out in store to see if it's something you'd like!

  1. Ah this looks like such a wonderful product, I was actually eyeing up the GOSH brand on Superdrug the other day. I was so pleased to see they are cruelty-free too. Thanks for the swatches and advice, it’s given me a more rounded impression of the eyeshadows. The shades are so pretty and wearable, and would be perfect for autumn. :-) xx
