BREAKING THE FAST.




Hey all, just thought I'd share my standard winter breakfsast with you. It's easy, quick and sets you up for the day. I make porridge in the microwave because I'm a lazy crazy cat, but if you have time it usually tastes creamier made in a pan on the hob. I always make an effort to chuck as many ingredients on top of it as possible so that it is absolutely chocked full of protein and essential fats. It's filling and a great winter warmer for these colder months. What you see above is as follows...

PORRIDGE 
BANANA
GOJI BERRIES
CHIA SEEDS
ALMOND FLAKES
SUNFLOWER SEEDS
ALMOND BUTTER

Minutes to prepare and super healthy - but most importantly tasty! If the banana I'm using isn't quite ripe enough then I'll also put some agave nectar (I use the brand Groovy Food) or maple syrup on top.
